ILDP brings DOE-recognized LPG training to Cebu

The Integrated LPG Distributors of the Philippines, Inc. (ILDP) launched a Department of Energy-recognized LPG training initiative in Cebu in August 2025, strengthening access to professional development for industry participants outside Metro Manila.

Public reporting identified the organization as the first association based in the Visayas and Mindanao to operate a DOE-recognized training initiative for LPG industry personnel. More than 100 LPG dealers and retailers participated in the first qualified service personnel training.

The initiative supports a stronger culture of safety and professionalism by covering responsible LPG handling and storage, regulatory awareness, consumer protection, and sound business practices.

Under the leadership of President Atty. John Dexter Cabahug, ILDP continues to advocate for industry collaboration and more accessible training opportunities for distributors, retailers, handlers, and other stakeholders.
